Working with through NJTPA’s Transit Hub Program and partnering with the City of Perth Amboy, Mike DiGeronimo led a team of planners, architects, engineers and preservationists looking to update the implementation priorities of prior downtown and TOD plans for the City.

Perth Amboy is home to some of the most significant historic architecture in New Jersey. Incremental density and Middle Housing typologies were studied to fill-in the missing teeth in the well-established downtown blocks. Through an interactive community outreach and online survey, the Team refined a list of priorities to assist the City with their on-going redevelopment planning. More significant redevelopment was limited to large vacant parcels near the train station.
